He left the program in a bit of disarray - maybe pushed the limits a little too far.

In my estimation he was the fifth greatest coach in ND history. Maybe you move him ahead of Harper.

He left ND and coached at South Carolina. That always got on my nerves, probably a me [arrogant ND fan] problem.

My interactions with him [very few and at SC] were meh.

His politics sucked.

But my Senior year was the best largely cuz of him.
