here's a question for the forum
Say you wanted to peg a "minimum yards" goal for your offense for each down & distance combination. For example:
1st & 10: you want a minimum of 5 yards (?)
2nd & 5: you want a minimum of 3 yards (?)
3rd & 2: you want a minimum of 2 yards (?)
I think this might be a way to mark whether a play "worked" or not. What do you think?
