pales compared to the BB tournament selection methodology. Obviously, there are more data points and data in general for the latter, but the football process seems as much based on "vibes" as anything. How else to explain the idiot in charge of the group encouraging the committee to go watch one particular game played 4 months prior (but not, say, Alabama getting their fuckin clocks cleaned by a 5-7 opponent the same weekend). Would you ever see that on the BB side, some clowndick invoking a game played in Hawaii back in November as justification for a decision made in March? Christ no. It's facile and pathetic. They should blow it up and start the fuck over.
