One of the beauties of meeting Ivy League law grads
is that a good number of them think their poop doesn't stink, but they are ineffectual lawyers.
I never considered applying to law schools outside the University of California. With "tuition" set at about $650 per semester and wanting to be in California I never gave any thought to applying to fancy private schools on the East Coast.
But summer clerking in LA, good Lord were those kids from the Ivy League (particularly Yale) clueless. I don't know what they got taught in their first year but it wasn't law.
