He was an engineering professor.
He was the academic advisor to the football team, and IIRC basketball too.
I don't know when he had time to sleep.
My freshman year, second semester I roomed with a football player who ended up flunking out (never played a down, one hell of an athlete, but smoked weed five times a day and I never saw him crack open a book). I don't know how many times I would answer the phone and would take a message "Tell him Mr. DeCicco called and call me back". It had to be at least 3 or 4 times a week.
