Allen TD vs Stanford
I think every now and then I'll throw a clip up here in TPG to discuss. I picked this one because it was kind of a cool play, but more importantly there were a number of different angles on it, including the overhead so you can see the coverage and all the routes.
Anything jump out at you? Some things I noticed:
* appears to be an audible
* interesting combo routes by four receivers
* Allen runs a real route out of the backfield, not just a sit-down outlet underneath
* protection was good
* looked like Cover 2
* Jimmy looks deep left first, then comes back to Armando right
* was there a pick, as Haden says? Is that part of the play design?
* the thumbs-up by Allen is a nice touch.
