I don't think we need to play Michigan every year

proximity and the natural rivalry between the schools is strong enough that ND and UM are not going to start seeming unfamiliar to one another if they don't play every year. Furthermore I think it's kind of cool when the games are irregular - it makes them seem like more of an event and imbues the game with higher stakes from a bragging rights perspective. It will also get us time to get our testicles into fighting condition.
