(2) I agree on the defense. Ive moved my chips all in for this year’s defense. They will be either great or legendary. And with the chips on their shoulders they should be playing with … (after how the Big Ten and the SEC F’d ND) … they should bring the lumber straight out of the gate. Im still pissed and Im not even on the team. If I were on the team … my rage would be maniacally focused on getting better.

(3) Right now the prediction markets have ND winning vs Wisconsin 34-14 with an 87% chance of a win. I agree w KGB. ND has time to gel before the BYU game. Before that, I only worry about stumbling in their opening game vs Wisconsin, but when I see those numbers … I dont think a veteran QB like CJ Carr will let ND stumble. And w ND’s defense, I think Wisconsin may struggle to get to 14.

(4) Who’s got it better than ND? Every team has questions, ND has far less than their opponents.

Anyways, great post Larz. Lots of fun to read and very level headed/ non-hype infused perspective. I also think there’s some well thought out counter arguments here. Fall practices cant start soon enough.
