A few thoughts
1. I felt like I was watching an old man trying to play a young man’s game.
2. It borrows heavily from CEotTK with none of the emotional heft. He probably should have just made a sequel.
2. The first half of the movie looks like shit. Dark and washed out.
3. It never confronts its central premise. It expressly refuses to.
Three thumbs sideways.
