I blame Charles

I laughed.
I’m also sorry.
Olu and Porter, to name several.
Agent dumped TT once he figured out that he'd be renegging on the ND pledge. He seems to grasp where his bread is gonna get buttered with recruits from that area.
I'm flabbergasted that there are teenage kids in Jersey who dream of playing for OU. Wut? I doubt that Barry Switzer's own grandkids wouldn't rather go to UT at this point.
meesa no like Notre Dame
sorry
I think that's right
But I saw all of this third or fourth hand so can't speak to specifics.
Not sure if his former Jersey-area agent is the same one
who represents Olu and some guys who had committed to ND over the last class or two before Olu. Supposedly, ND's connection to that agent helped us get in the door late with Olu the way we did.
Him going to that school in the first place is bizarre
If you know anything about that area.
Appros of nothing, but his big sis played soccer on the under 20 USWNT and then for Penn State.
He didn’t look happy. If he’s waking up at 4AM every morning for something, kid deserves to be happy. Enjoy Norman.
No doubt
Its good that he showed his true colors early in the process.
ND has plenty of time to ID a late riser, or even look to re-classify someone. They've certainly got enough experience with that.
The most important takeaway from this, is that we learned
where Trey’s true heart is, and very early in the process. On to the next recruit.
There's some stuff out there
About him dumping his agent after committing. Said agent has a really good relationship with ND and reps other commits/players on the team. Not clear why he decided to dump the agent, but OU remained in contact with the family post-commitment and apparently drastically increased their NIL offer. ND wouldn't match, and that's that.
Yeah. The bottom line, of course, is that no matter what
he said, he wasn't committed. So, move along. Nothing to see here.
Reaading tea leaves. He commited to ND on Father's Day
while at ND with his father, who is a lifelong ND fan.
Maybe it wasn't really what he wanted to do.

Didn't he just commit recently?
He didn't look too happy in the photo with MF. Oh well. No biggie.
Especially as a Jersey kid from a core Jersey Catholic
high school.
What a bonkers situation
He felt like the Angeli clone we were somewhat settling for after the dalliances with a couple of big fish in Lawrence and Preyear. A total "program type" and "ND kid." Then he flips to a shitty school with a shitty offense in Oklahoma (not yet, but seems inevitable) after less than a week? Presumably seeking a bigger NIL payday in the process? Hard to recall a stranger turn in recruiting.
I'm very much Team "pay the players and give them leverage"
That being said. I'm not a very big fan of Trey. May he enjoy all the success of Jackson Arnold

Freeman's got so much riz they need to call him Aura Parseghian
Trey Tagliaferri has decommited from ND
Expected to commit to Oklahoma.
