Nothing new. Actually more transparent now than Schlichter,
Hornung, and a host of others who were threatened and/or coerced by bookies (some of whom lived out their lives like schnooks).
TBC, I'm not to be flippant about this. The players need to be educated the same way professionals are when they enter the league. They are pros, so they've got to follow certain rules that the general population doesn't. Coaches need to be involved too.
