Actually won it all? I am thinking OSU in 2024, right? All the talk about how much money they spent and the NFL talent.
So while it’s easy to point to the failed expectations of UT and PSU last year, the idea that a preseason hyped team is jinxed is undermined by that recent example. Isn’t it? Please?

"breakout" year. As in, haven't really done much in the past, but this is the one we're supposed to get over the hump.

Freeman has been around the block at this point, and I think he's been able to build and sustain a team culture that it takes to actually meet these types of expectations. Still going to be a miserable season for me personally.

Equivalent to '90 for Holtz, '01 for Davie, 2009 for Weis and 2014 for Kelly. Felt like those guys had been around for ages by those points (especially Weis)
