Heaps and the UW
Heaps will get a lot of local pressure to go to the UW. But if Sark keeps racking up minor recruiting infractions Jay and his ambitious parents could get spooked.
I would agree with you.

I thought that the initial meeting between
Heaps and Sarkisian didn't go that great. Something about how he couldn't answer all of Heaps questions. It will also be interesting of when he is going to make his decision. If it's before the season then that might benefit Ten. There coaching staff is brand new, and will be there for his collegiant career. If he's waiting till after the season starts then we may be in good shape if we have the kind of year we all think were going to have.
Washington will be in trouble for awhile.
They can bus in all the Jucos they want, they're still going to have issues on the line. Since Heaps isn't going to do a mission, their immediate problems will become his problems.
I don't know how big a player BYU is in all of this, but I like ND's chances against Tennessee. We need a QB, too, and Weis still has a lot of credibility recruiting that position.
I have no inside info...
but he's Mormon (yes, we got Te'o, but Mormons at ND are still rare), he will receive major pressure to be the centerpiece of Sarkisian's first class at Washington, and he's the No. 1 QB target of Tennessee, which has brought in zero QBs in the last two classes.
Why do people think that Heaps is so unlikely?
Just curious.
Yeah, as of now

Is that premo information?
I'm upset I wasted so much time typing questions about that kid.
Blake Bell just got offered.
Per Sampson over on IL.
Two others have been offered
Jake Heaps and Devin Gardner. Both are unlikely, I would guess. The next wave of offers will probably go to some combination of players that includes Blake Bell (Kansas), Pete Thomas (San Diego), Bryan Bennett (Fauria's HS) and Chase Rettig (Pasadena). I have no idea what to make of the Nick Montana situation.
On the Rivals board
