Picked up the new Phil Steele magazine
I think he managed to find a smaller font type this year.
Anyway, the main takeaway after flipping through it quickly is that Steele is pretty impressed with ND's talent. I think he had an ND player in just about every Top player by position breakdown, and that didn't include underclassmen like Floyd or Ethan Johnson. He tabbed Tate as a pre-season 1st Team All-American and Sam Young as 2nd Team.
Overall he tabbed ND as the #7 team in the country. Pretty heady stuff. For the first time I think he even nailed the eventual ND starting lineup (last year he had Paddy Mullen as a starting DT) although that assumes Manti Te'o will start.
We're going to have a Phil Steel Book Club, right?
