Recalling Weis's post-2005-SC-loss actions, if I had to guess, the "brief" discussion was a teaching moment for Charlie Jr., knowing full well what the answer would be.

"It sucks now for all of us. I can resign and go back to the NFL as a coordinator. Or we can stay here and keep going. Would you rather I quit and give up or keep going?"
