"We're overmatched, here."

As he removed the extra plate from the sled. I loved it. He's not letting them off easy, that's for sure, and it's a great thing. I imagine it's also something they might not be used to. I think we'll no doubt see improvement on the OL this year, but the question remains exactly how good they can be. It would have been very nice for them to have this kind of coaching since day 1.

Everything I've seen on Chris Stewart has impressed me.

I think the kid could have a monster year.

It all looks the same to me. Can someone explain what they were doing wrong?

Awesome video...

As Verducci said as Golic finished up, "Your tempo sucks!!".

I saw two times he had them do it again...

for bad footwork on the first step.

Hard for me not to get a little excited about that, actually. Far too often, our OL look like they're doing the electric slide on their first step.

Seemed he was upset about...

how quickly players were getting set, where the hands were placed, and/or how they drove through the blocking sled using leverage. Maybe?

One of the most encouraging parts of the sequence

was the end, when he asked Braxton Cave what he did wrong. Cave apparently nailed the answer which suggest they are internalizing the lessons. This emphasizes to me that Verducci's style is effective so far: despite being in the midst of the drill, the players are still paying attention to detail.
