I'm almost certain he's had more than one career reception. That stat just doesn't make any sense.

EDIT: 23 receptions, 186 yards. Started 7 games. I knew that didn't look right; West may not have been the best receiver, but he did contribute, and he did a lot of the little things right, like downfield blocking.

that was a top 5 recruiting class. Whiffs galore.

Although I think we pooh-pooh (I'm guilty of it as well) that class a little too much given that, even with all the transfers, it still yielded 7+ multi-year, significant contributors. I think that's a good number for any class. Yes, the '06 class had serious holes but all in all I think people (not you guys, necessarily) are too quick to discount the class as "overrated."
