He could also mean values in the sense
of football programs. Of course, that's not to say that Miami and Notre Dame view and handle their football teams in similar fashion, but they both have fairly similar pedigrees (historically strong programs, Heisman winners, national championships, national profile, Rick Mirer's and Geno Torretta's relative NFL careers).
It's obviously not a perfect comparison, but in that sense, we share a hell of a lot more values with Miami than we do Nevada.
