On the golden circle - like, between geysir and gulfoss?
There's a farm where you can pull over to the side of the road and get self-serve horse treats out of this kind of kiosk (honor system but it was like 1 euro) and the horses are GORGEOUS.
Like, icelandic horses with long flowing blond manes.
It became the equivalent of going to Nara with the deer - they're just all over you.
I'll try to find the exact location.... I have a photo where I'm holding harper and a horse is trying to eat treats out of my pocket and it's marked as being on Biskupstungnabraut road (35) near Blaskogabyggo, but that's not exactly narrowing it down
