Oh man, Hart is the anti-Smith
In every possible way. Smith played like he was half the size he was, Hart plays like he's twice the size he is. I love him. And as a big John Starks guy - I know the Chicago people here will hate me for it but he was my favorite on the 90's teams - I secretly love that Hart (unintentionally, I'm quite sure) shares his number.
Speaking of my man, of course everyone remembers his 2-for-19 in Game 7 in 1994. What so many forget is that he went nuclear in Game 6 and very nearly won the Knicks the title that night - took a buzzer-beater three that Hakeem ran out and got a fingernail on, and it rimmed out. Saw someone on Twitter post the final play with the caption "KAT fingertip >>>>>>> Hakeem fingertip" and I couldn't help but smile. Long time coming but maybe this is really it. Maybe.
