If you haven't, you should tune into the Stanley Cup Finals

Two incredible games so far.

In the history of the SC, teams were 0-55 after trailing 2-0 in a game.

So far this year, it's 2-0 for the teams that fell behind 2-nothing.

And last night's 3rd period alone was probably enough to turn some people into hockey fans.

And about halfway thru on the video, you can skip to the 9 minute mark of the 3rd when all hell breaks loose.

And giving a goalie that hadn't started a game in 2 months (and was just ok after the Olympic break) was surely a ballsy call but I always trust Rod.

And it really wasn't a lucky shot, it was a great shot.

Bussi was great in the interview after the game. Hockey players are the most humble players in sports, and there's no one close. Even guys from Long Guy Land like Bussi.

Jordan Staal is the first player since Mike Bossy in '82 to score a goal in each of the 1sts 4 Cup games.

And Bussi was the locker room player of the game and almost seemed embarrassed in the short clip.

And he's been a pretty amazing story this year.

He was claimed off waivers from Florida last October as sort of an insurance policy for 2 injury prone goalies
They really had no expectations.
Then 9 days later he made his first start...due to injury and made 16 saves in a 5-1 win.

He ended up going 31-6-2 after basically becoming the go to goalie for most of the season.
He was 25-3-1 at one point and signed a 3 year $5.7 mil contract based on the best first 25 games start in NHL history.
After going 6-3-1 after the Olympic break, Brind'Amour decided to start Freddy in G1 of the first round and just rode the hot hand until forced to pivot.

Bussi would seem the obvious G5 choice.

As a hockey coach, I'm like what are you guys doing with ypur defensive zone coverages. Walker defended that 3 zone flip like Michigan against Kordell Stewart. Yeesh.

Game 1 and 2 are like the Texas A&M game on ice, but that's good for general viewership so I'm all for 5 more games of this!

One point, it was the road team that was 0-55 down 2-0. The Rangers have blown something like 7 2 goal leads in the Stanley Cup finals, including both game 1 and game 2 in 2014. Now I need another drink.
